The state’s ongoing support for projects across various sectors most notably the mining sector is reflected in its goal to increase the sector’s contribution to the GDP by up to 6%.
In light of this support, the Egypt Mining Forum took place over the past few days, and we at Horizon Chemical were honored to visit this important event.
This forum stands as one of the key initiatives supporting the sector, hosted by the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources and supported by the Egyptian Mineral Resources Authority (EMRA).
The event brought together senior government officials, industry thought leaders, emerging companies, and investors in the mining field to explore the challenges, opportunities, and strategies needed to establish Egypt as a leading global hub for mining.
